Since we were children we have come across so many references in our stories books where travellers have chosen to rest and recuperate at Inns. Since ancient times we have found the existence of such lodgings which served the merchants and traders, travelling arduous routes to exchange goods and services. The Roman version of Inns called hostelries or mansiones were located along the merchant travelled roads. A little history piqued one's interest in the subject, which for today will be Hotel Management. The existence of hotels, hostels, lodges and inns along trade routes was a concept that is as ancient as trade itself.
